Pantheon Institute housing is situated in both the Pantheon neighborhood as well as across the river in the Trastevere neighborhood.
Housing options include both a dormitory style residence with kitchenettes and bathrooms included in each unit as well as stand-alone apartments located within neighborhood buildings. Students can enjoy exploring these neighborhoods populated with a variety of shops, restaurants, hospitals, public transportation lines, supermarkets, government buildings, police stations, and major cultural attractions.
STUDENT RESIDENCE
Santa Maria in Capella Residence
The Santa Maria in Capella Residence is located within a larger historic villa situated along the Tiber River. This SMC student residence building looks out over a lush green garden shared by other villa patrons. The Residence itself is exclusive to Institute staff and students.
NEIGHBORHOOD APARTMENTS
The Corso Vittorio Apartment
This spacious piano nobile apartment is located in front of the Largo Argentina archeological site. The apartment accommodates between 8 and 10 students. The unit itself sits within a magnificent palazzo that is home to a variety of local residents and businesses. The apartment includes ample common space, three bathrooms, a large kitchen area, and a small balcony, as well as AC and WiFi. Every student is afforded their own bed, wardrobe, desk, and desk chair as well as one set of linens and towels.
The Orti Apartment
This beautiful second-floor apartment is located on a quiet street in the historic neighborhood of Trastevere. With a wrap-around balcony, each bedroom can accommodate 2-3 people and up to 9 persons total in the apartment. Situated in a very residential area, students enjoy a more quiet area of the historic city center.

About Housing
Amenities
All Institute housing includes a bed and wardrobe space for every student as well as shared bathrooms, cooking areas, and communal lounging and study spaces and furniture (desks, tables, chairs, and/or sofas) in each unit/apartment. WiFi and AC are standard in every apartment.
All housing provides student access to onsite washing machines and common areas of every unit are cleaned once-weekly by Institute cleaning staff. An initial set of linens (bed sheets and towels) are provided at arrival a new set is offered for exchange once per month.
Roommates
Students can request roommates during the application process. Roommate assignments are limited to within the program, meaning, you will only live with other students studying in your same program. While we cannot guarantee your housing selection, we will do everything possible to meet your indicated preference. Please know that intended roommates must choose each other in order to secure a matched placement together.
Regulations
All Institute housing spaces are managed according to institutional policies. Students are expected to behave according to Pantheon Institute Code of Conduct at all times. The Pantheon Institute prioritizes the wellbeing of all students by maintaining clean and safe housing spaces that welcome everyone. The Institute maintains a zero-tolerance policy for any behavior that would threaten or jeopardize other students individual health and security. The Pantheon Institute has a variety of trained staff and administrators who are ready to assist you with your housing needs. From maintenance support from our Facilities Manager to 24/7 emergency assistance through the Institute Emergency Phone, we are ready to engage with you to respond to and resolve any concerns you may have while living in Pantheon housing.
