From drafting during our core design studio, to mapping spaces using innovative virtual technology, to traversing the city through the eyes of cartographer, to discovering nutrition and culture through hands-on cooking classes, you will find yourself reflected in the world around you, learning self-transformation leads to environmental adaptation.
On-Site Courses
Our classes prioritize hands-on learning and site-specific engagement. From walking the ancient Appia Antica to weaving through the Roman Forum, our world-class professors engage you to see the humanity of architecture and design, how the things we create are a reflection of our own identity. The ancient marvels of Rome are now intertwined with the modern life of one of Europe’s greatest capital cities, revealing the evolution of Western civilization and pointing to a future that is shaped by the past. Field Trips & Travel
As part of your curriculum, you will participate in a variety of field trips and site visits that expand you understanding of course material beyond the classroom, translating the theoretical into the tangible reality of lived experience. We guide student all around Italy to see how this diverse peninsula contains multitudes.
In your free time, you can take advantage of Rome’s central location as a international travel hub or explore the wonders of Italy through the country’s robust and extensive bus and train systems. The opportunities to explore are endless.
Personalized Support
Study abroad expands horizons in new ways, in ways that are unique to everyone. While at Pantheon Institute, you will have the support of experienced staff who are enthusiastic to help you find your way through your experience in Rome. We have created an infrastructure of handbooks, resources, 24/7 On Call Emergency Phone, and onsite staff that are ready to engage with you at any time.
We also collaborate with your home institution to help you prepare for your experience abroad, guiding you through the visa process and course selection process, making sure you transition to and from Rome fully aligns with your academic and personal goals.
